Get ready for Nationals – the massive uni sports competition

Do you have a competitive spirit and the skills to compete in sports? Western Sydney University has more happening around campus than just studying. There are teams on every campus incorporating almost every sport you could think of.

All universities in Australia offer students the chance to compete in a national sporting competition. Teams are formed on campus and are sent to compete.

In 2018 this competition – once called Australian University Games – has been rebranded Nationals. There will be two competitions Division 2 from 1- 5 July and Division 1 from 21_27 September. Both competitions are held during semester breaks. This year Nationals will be held on the sunny Gold Coast Queensland.

This is your chance to compete is the sun, sand and surf of our own Queensland paradise. Western Sydney University are formidable competitors at Nationals and placed well in previous competitions.

Try-outs are held in late March early April, so get ready now if you are keen to compete. All Western students are welcome to have a go.
